GoTech World 2025 reached a new milestone with 15,000 business visitors, 100+ partners, and 106 sessions across 12 content stages. The spotlight was on Fredrik Gran, Swedish composer and sonic visionary, together with his creation that has left critics speechless from Munich to Montreal: The Robot Cellist. Alongside him, there were speakers from companies such as Microsoft, Google, KPMG, SAP, and Adobe.

GoTech World 2024 reached a new milestone with 14,500 business visitors, 91 partners, and 106 sessions across 11 content stages. The spotlight was on Kevin Gaskell, former CEO of Porsche, Lamborghini, and BMW, joined by thought leaders from Microsoft, SAP, UNESCO, Europol, and DAVID Madrid. 

GoTech World 2023 attracted 13,836 business visitors, 100+ partners, and over 120 agenda sessions across 11 themed stages. A defining moment was the first-ever appearance in Romania of Richard Browning, the inventor of the Gravity Jet Suit, who performed a live flight demo. 

After two years online, GoTech World 2022 returned on-site at Romexpo Pavilion B1, gathering 7,000 professionals, 80+ exhibitors, and 134 international speakers. Key voices included Inderpal Bhandari (IBM), Ivana Bartoletti (Wipro), and Marcus Meyer (Lacoste), with major partners like Microsoft, Orange Business, Bitdefender, BCR, Dell Technologies, and DPD. A standout moment: the robotic ballet show by Merritt Moore, merging science and art live on stage. 

Faced with the global pandemic, GoTech World transformed into a fully virtual event for the first time for the next two years. The edition recreated the expo experience through a 3D platform, live chat, and interactive video meetings. It became the first large-scale B2B tech event in CEE to go fully digital. In 2021, the milestone 10th edition reached over 15,000 professionals from 5,848 companies, provided 130+ speakers, and introduced the new Smart City Stage in collaboration with the Romanian Smart City Association. 

Internet & Mobile World officially rebranded as GoTech World, issued as “a manifesto of digitalization” for the entire business ecosystem and the home of the digital economy in Central & Eastern Europe. The edition, where were open by The Romania President Klaus Iohannis, drew over 10,000 professionals, 136 partners, and featured 140 exhibition booths, plus 7 content stages.  

Between 2013 and 2018, Internet & Mobile World evolved into the leading B2B tech event in CEE, known for debuting over 20 innovative business apps and digital solutions, including tools for CRM, cloud, and M2M communication.

Held annually at Romexpo, the event featured 7 themed stages, 130+ sessions, 156 partners, and 136+ speakers in its 2018 edition alone, attracting over 9,000 business professionals. That year marked a key milestone: due to its continued growth, IMWorld moved to the larger and more modern Pavilion B1, paving the way for the rebranding to GoTech World. 

The first edition of Internet & Mobile World launched on 19–21 September 2012 at Romexpo, with a clear mission: to bring digital transformation to the forefront of Romanian businesses. Over 5,200 business professionals attended the debut edition, alongside 104 exhibitors and partners – including Microsoft, Romtelecom, Nokia, and ASUS. 

With 105 international and local speakers, the event laid the foundation for what would become the largest B2B tech expo-conference in Central and Eastern Europe.
