Building bridges for transformation and collaboration
As the driving force behind the Science and Technology Park Magurele investment project — a regional initiative of strategic importance — MSP acts as a catalyst for collaboration among research institutions, businesses, public administration and NGOs.
Engaging with a network of over 350 members, MSP promotes an entrepreneurial mindset and facilitates the application of research and innovation in both the market and society. The association also supports an educational ecosystem that helps address challenges brought by emerging technologies.

Empowering SMEs through the PROSME Project
One of MSP’s key initiatives is the PROSME – Promoting Romanian SMEs through the Enterprise Europe Network - project, part of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). This program supports ambitious SMEs in their international growth while helping them transition towards more sustainable, digital and resilient business models.
Within PROSME, MSP experts offer complimentary advisory and partnership services to SMEs and other organizations, focusing on sustainable development, digitalization and competitiveness. The services cover a wide range of sectors — including agriculture, industry, energy, construction, transport, trade, communications, health and education.
Through the EEN international database, MSP promotes business and technology profiles, enabling transnational partnerships and knowledge transfers that accelerate innovation and collaboration.

Over the past three and a half years, Măgurele Science Park (MSP) has grown into a regional hub of knowledge, resources and opportunities for SMEs across Bucharest-Ilfov and South Muntenia. The project’s results have exceeded initial targets, demonstrating the effectiveness and relevance of MSP’s actions in fostering innovation and collaboration.
Looking to the future, MSP reaffirms its commitment to empowering Romanian SMEs to think globally and act sustainably. The next stage of development will further strengthen MSP’s role as a catalyst for innovation, with a special emphasis on internationalization, digitalization and sustainability.
