ENDAVA Continues to Expand its operations in Romania with three new cities: Craiova, Sibiu & Suceava



THE COMPANY HAS ALREADY hired over 100 IT SPECIALISTS IN THE NEW CENTERS AND ANNOUNCES THAT IT WILL CONTINUE recruiting AND Investing IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES.


Endava, the British software company present on the local market with 7 Delivery Units in Brașov, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Timișoara, Târgu-Mureș and Pitești, announces the expansion of its business operations in three other locations in Romania: Craiova, Sibiu and Suceava. Currently, the company has over 3,000 employees in Romania, working for various clients in industries such as payments, financial services, TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecom) or logistics. One of the biggest software companies in Romania and among the most desired IT employers, Endava is continuously expanding the team. The company has open job opportunities for the tech community, targeting software developers, testers, application management engineers, data experts, support services employees, analysts, project managers, and software architects.


The British company announced in September this year that it is permanently switching to a hybrid work model, which gives its employees flexibility and the opportunity to work both from the office and from home, depending on the needs and responsibilities of each team. Moreover, the company also offers everyone the option to work from outside Romania for up to 20 days in each foreign country. Employees form the new hubs in Craiova, Sibiu and Suceava, will have the same benefits. Teams working at Endava can come in the office for joint activities, such as Agile Ceremonies, but also for training and internship programs, workshops or any other activities where direct collaboration is preferred.

ENDAVA CONTINUES TO EXPAND AND INVEST IN THE LOCAL COMUNITY


In addition to the three new centers, the British company announces the growth of its teams of specialists in all centers in Romania. The Delivery Unit in Târgu-Mureș has surpassed the milestone of 50 employees and starting with this autumn is coordinated by Ovidiu Spinean. with over 10 years of experience in the company, Ovidiu was previously Head of User Centric Services, contributing to the development of teams and business globally.


Endava also announces that it will continue to invest in the local community, by organizing free events for IT specialists. Therefore, on December 9th, the first event in the Tech Talks series dedicated to external IT communities at the European level will take place. The online event Tech Talks – European Edition powered by Endava will be structured in two parts: a panel of specialists from both the leadership and technical area, in a debate, focused on the opportunities justified by the new reality and the new hybrid way of working. In the second part, the emphasis will be on Extended Reality projects, where Thomas Bedenk, Vice President Extended Reality in Endava Berlin will give a presentation.
