Uzbekistan – world’s finest conditions for tech businesses



IT Park Uzbekistan is a driving force in the country’s tech industry, offering ideal conditions for IT business growth and offshore outsourcing with 0% tax incentives. In just 5 years, IT Park has attracted over 2,400 IT and service companies, about 980 of which are exporters, positioning it as a key player in Uzbekistan’s transformation into a global IT hub.

With a population of over 37 million, 60% under the age of 30, and being the #1 English-speaking nation in Central Asia, the country is focused on creating new jobs for local specialists as part of its IT hub strategy.


Through IT Park programs, Uzbekistan offers streamlined processes for launching companies that provide IT solutions or digital services globally. The local infrastructure is expanding, with 225,000 square meters of office space, including 14 branches across the country. Companies joining IT Park benefit from the One-Stop-Shop program, which simplifies business creation and offers full tax exemptions, while the IT Visa program provides residency for up to three years with equal social rights.


The Zero Risk program

The Zero Risk program offers rent exemptions outside Tashkent and access to fully equipped office spaces. Additionally, the upcoming International Center of Digital Technologies "Enterprise Uzbekistan" will serve as an economic free zone with special legal regulations.


Foreign companies setting up operations in Uzbekistan gain access to new markets in the CIS and beyond, thanks to its strategic location between Europe and Asia. The country's ideal time zone supports global operations, with a 9-hour difference from North America, 3 hours ahead of Europe, 4 hours behind Asia, and 1 hour ahead of the MENA region.


In 2024, Uzbekistan’s IT exports expanded to 78 countries, which primarily is provided to North America (45%), followed by the CIS and APAC regions (27%), Europe and the UK (21%), and MENA (6%). Uzbekistan’s strong economic growth, recorded at 6.4% in the first half of 2024, further enhances its global competitiveness.


By 3Q 2024, IT Park members employed 36,000 people, representing a 10,000 increase from the end of 2023, with regional employment surging by 223% (8,200 jobs). Uzbek startups have attracted $148 million in venture capital investments, reflecting growing international interest in innovative projects.


IT Park continues to support startups and IT companies in attracting investments, developing global connections, collaborating with foreign IT companies and investors, and participating in international exhibitions and forums.
